GOLD VERMEIL
Gold vermeil is a technique where gold is applied to sterling silver with a thicker layer of gold to standard plating. The plating is required to be 2.5 microns thick which is 5 times thicker than normal plating. This makes Gold Sister jewellery far more long-lasting and durable.
BASE METAL
The base metal used in Gold Sisters vermeil jewellery is ethical and recycled 925 sterling silver, making it as sustainable as possible.
